Who We Are

Who we are

Our Commitment

Everything CPS does is guided by a clear sense of purpose. Beyond managing projects, we’re driven by the impact those projects have on the communities they serve. And by an unwavering commitment to the owners who trust us to protect their interests. The following mission and vision reflect who we are and how we show up for our clients, every day.

Mission

Handling complex, socially impactful issues that benefit the community in which we serve. Although we work in the built environment, we understand that the reach of the facilities and projects we oversee goes significantly beyond physical infrastructure. Our niche is to work on projects that provide vital services to the communities they are built in, where the work that takes place in those facilities is socially impactful.

Vision

We believe in hands-on advocacy on behalf of our Owners. We have the subject matter expertise to protect our Owner’s interests and are relentless in our pursuit to achieve their goals. We love what we do, and we want to help our Owners succeed. To be the voice of our Owners on their construction projects, we must be reliable and do what we say we will do.

We are relentless in our pursuit to achieve our Owners’ goals. We are their voice and take seriously the trust that Owners place in our hands to ensure program success.

We face challenges as a unified force and trust that each member of the team is going to respond in a way that moves the team and the mission forward.

When you’re building something that doesn’t yet exist, there’s rarely an instruction book. We draw the owl by embracing uncertainty and creating smart solutions when there aren’t step-by-step instructions to follow.

“Be like a duck. Calm on the surface, but always paddling like the dickens underneath.” Michael Caine. We manage complexity behind the scenes so our Owners experience clarity, confidence, and calm.

To be effective leaders, we must look at matters from all perspectives. We provide guidance with reason and empathy.

When we are intentional with our time and our energy, we achieve great things. We stay focused on the Owner’s goals, plan with purpose, and align every decision to the bigger picture.

As an employee-owned company, we all take responsibility for the firm’s legacy. Our high retention rate translates to a team that will stick with our Owners throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Principal-level involvement in each project demonstrates to our Owners that we value their project with the same level of importance and commitment that they do.

CPS Values

These values guide the way we work, not as a list of ideals, but as the standard we hold ourselves to on every program. From the first conversation with a client to the final walkthrough on a project, they shape how we show up and the results we deliver.
