Eric founded CPS in 1998 with a clear purpose: to protect the Owner’s interests. As CEO, he sets the firm’s direction and ensures that purpose remains at the center of how CPS grows, serves its clients, and delivers its work. His Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University gives him the technical grounding to understand complex facilities, while his experience gives him the judgment to help Owners and executives navigate consequential business, operational, and capital program decisions.
Eric moves easily from advising senior decision-makers to mentoring CPS staff on how to represent an Owner with confidence, accountability, and integrity. He stays personally engaged in the firm’s work, asking difficult questions, challenging teams to think beyond the immediate issue, and making sure decisions serve the Owner’s larger objectives. Relentless in his advocacy, Eric has built a culture where protecting the Owner is not simply a service CPS provides—it is the standard by which the firm measures its work.
