CPS provided full program management services for conversion of the State Department of Corrections’ facility into space for the new Haralson County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center. The project included renovating and converting the existing 26,520 square feet of an existing probation detention center into the county jail and sheriff’s office. The scope included demolition, renovation, and new construction. The result is a 124-bed detention center with six outdoor fenced recreation yards, and a dedicated wing for the sheriff’s office administrative offices. New booking, laundry, kitchen, court, and administrative areas were included.
