The relationship between the CPS team members and Cobb County began over twenty years ago, and has encompassed multiple projects on the Detention Center Campus.

Work Release Center: In 2002, a new 384-bed, $5M Work Release Center was built to house local inmates and to serve as an alternative to incarceration for inmates who could suitably work on a minimum-security work detail or in a work release setting.
