The HJAIA Power Resiliency Project strengthened the electrical infrastructure supporting Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, enhancing the airport’s ability to maintain operations during utility disruptions and reducing the risk of service interruptions. The project included 100 Tier 4 diesel generators providing approximately 62.5 megawatts of backup generation capacity for critical airport facilities. CPS provided program management services, helping coordinate planning, construction, commissioning, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver a resilient power system that supports operational continuity at one of the world’s busiest airports.
