The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) Replacement Program is a $175 million aviation infrastructure initiative delivered through CPS program management services to modernize 116 passenger boarding bridges, the largest ground support project of its kind in U.S. history. The multi-year, multi-phased program incorporated advanced PBB technology, including pre-conditioned air, automatic aircraft docking, self-diagnostics, performance monitoring, and integration with airport asset systems. CPS coordinated with aviation experts, manufacturers, contractors, and airport operations teams to manage planning, logistics, phased implementation, and seamless installation with minimal operational disruption. The completed program improved passenger experience, enhanced safety and efficiency, and delivered significant value by completing early phases 90 days ahead of schedule and $22 million under budget.
