Adult Detention & Law Enforcement Center

The Douglas County Adult Detention and Law Enforcement Center is a justice facility delivered through CPS program management services as part of a nearly 15-year partnership supporting the County’s public safety infrastructure needs. CPS provided needs assessment, master planning, vendor coordination, contract support, and on-site construction oversight to guide the development of the new facility and ensure alignment with operational goals. CPS’s expertise in government and justice facilities helped the Sheriff’s Office transition into the expanded center efficiently while minimizing additional operational costs for the County and taxpayers. The project achieved LEED Certification through the U.S. Green Building Council and provides a modern, sustainable facility designed to serve Douglas County’s long-term public safety needs.
