House of Pickleball
House of Pickleball
The City of Newnan’s House of Pickleball, known as “The HOP,” stands as a signature recreational destination that reflects the City’s commitment to active living, community wellness, and inclusive programming. Designed in response to the rapid rise of pickleball’s popularity, the campus offers a premier environment for casual play, league activities, and tournament-level outdoor competition.
CPS provided comprehensive program management services for The HOP, guiding the project from early planning and design through construction and completion. Serving as an extension of the City, CPS ensured the facility aligned with budget goals, schedule expectations, safety standards, and long-term operational needs. CPS also coordinated with design teams, contractors, and community stakeholders to support seamless delivery and a successful public opening.
Phase I of The HOP includes a full complex of dedicated outdoor pickleball courts supported by spectator seating, shaded rest areas, sports lighting, parking, and a newly constructed restroom and concession building that enhances user comfort and accommodates the needs of tournaments and high-volume events. The inclusion of this facility strengthens the site’s functionality and allows the venue to operate as a cohesive recreational destination from day one.
More than a sports facility, The HOP functions as a vibrant community hub that promotes health, social connection, and recreation for all ages. The venue attracts players from across the region, supports local businesses during tournaments and special events, and contributes to economic activity and tourism. The project elevates Newnan’s quality of life and stands as a model for community-focused recreational development.
