The Concourse T & Terminal HVAC Replacement replaced 37 air handling units, 20 rooftop HVAC units, and all associated distribution ductwork and terminal boxes serving Concourse T South, the Terminal and Atrium at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The new equipment not only provided more consistently comfortable conditions for tenants and passengers but further provided an energy efficient HVAC system that resulted in energy cost savings to airport stakeholders. CPS was tasked with managing the design, construction and commissioning of the new HVAC system with the constraint of preventing any disruption to operations of H-JAIA, the world’s busiest airport.
