As the civic heart of Brookhaven, Comprehensive Program Services (CPS) provided complete program management services for the City’s new City Centre. The Centre is a landmark civic facility encompassing 58,250 square feet of occupiable space (96,350 square feet gross area). Approximately 60% of the new building is dedicated to public use, featuring a variety of amenities that foster civic engagement and social interaction. In addition, the multi-story building consolidates administrative offices, public meeting rooms, and flexible community spaces under one roof, establishing a transparent and accessible environment that reflects Brookhaven’s commitment to openness, sustainability, and community connection.

Available for public use are 11 meeting rooms totaling 20,000 square feet (with the largest at 200 square feet), a multi-purpose event hall, catering kitchen, coffee shop, gift shop, and open-air rooftop garden. Outdoor green space and landscaped plazas further enhance the building’s role as a welcoming gathering place and year-round destination for residents and visitors alike.

Constructed using mass timber, the City Centre exemplifies sustainable innovation and achieved LEED Gold certification through its environmentally responsible design and construction practices. From responsibly sourced timber production to efficient transportation and installation methods, every stage of the process maximized material utilization and minimized waste. The project also earned WELL certification, underscoring the City’s dedication to occupant health and comfort through thoughtful integration of natural light, acoustic balance, air quality, and overall wellness-focused design.

More than a government facility, the City Centre serves as a vibrant civic destination. Featuring a rooftop terrace with panoramic views, an on-site coffee shop, and event spaces open for public use, the building supports year-round civic, cultural, and social programming. Its proximity to MARTA and central location within Brookhaven’s urban core make it an active, walkable hub for residents reinforcing its dual role as both City Hall and a community gathering place that celebrates the spirit and vitality of Brookhaven.
