Drawing from his time as a STEM instructor, Kurt deftly leads the project teams he oversees in a coachlike manner. Kurt’s skills allow him to motivate the team to work together collaboratively to achieve the Owner’s goals and ensure alignment with the construction documents and project requirements. His diverse educational and professional background—including playing NCAA Division 1 baseball at the Naval Academy, serving as a US Naval Officer, working as Director of Operations at a large residential developer, and his time molding the minds of Georgia’s youths—has contributed significantly in his ability to easily adapt to any situation he faces, which is critical due to the nature of construction projects. Kurt can often be found onsite in his boots and hard hat, keeping a close eye on project progress, or flying a drone to capture the site from a bird’s eye view.
