Eric L. JohnsonChief Executive Officer
Eric created Comprehensive Program Services over 20 years ago on the foundation of a simple philosophy – protect the interest of the Owner. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from Auburn University, Eric is responsible for integrating the firm’s technical expertise in program and construction management with strategic thinking needed by infrastructure owners, developers and operators to solve critical business and operational issues. Eric’s level of commitment has resulted in long term relationships with his clients. When asked what he thinks is the most valuable lesson learned in his career, he says “You have to build a strong team and become personally involved. Our goal at CPS is to become trusted partners for our clients.”
Todd ButlerPresident
With a career spanning over 15 years with Comprehensive Program Services, Todd Butler has experience with ground up construction, facility and system expansions and interior tenant build outs. Todd provides exceptional leadership and control to programs and has an astute business acumen that drives results. Todd holds an MBA from Georgia State University and is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He has an extensive aviation facility management and construction background and showcases this experience at the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. These projects present an inherent challenge that require an incredible level of planning and logistics coordination to ensure that operations and safe passage is never impacted through delivery. Todd has extensive experience as a strategic advisor and an “owners advocate”, overseeing the scheduling and successful completion of more than $1 billion worth of construction. Todd truly has a deep understanding of his clients’ systems and operations necessary to streamline the design and construction of projects.
Megan KocikowskiVice President
Having graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University, Megan brings a wealth of experience in planning, budgeting, and strategic thinking to all CPS projects. She received her master’s degree in Building Construction at the Georgia Institute of Technology and has been in the industry for 15 years, focusing on government and higher education projects. She is particularly suited for representation of Owners in their construction and renovation projects, having served as an Owner for the State of Georgia for over a decade. Her detail-oriented approach and leadership helps clients make thoughtful decisions to ensure their projects meet their needs not only at initial occupancy, but for years after. She currently serves as a member of the CMAA South Atlantic Chapter Foundation Board.
Steve Mauro, PEVice President
Steve brings more than 25 years of experience managing construction, maintenance, operations and utility systems. Having served in the military as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer, Steve approaches projects with the Owner’s best interest in mind. He proactively determines the correct course of action and project direction at every juncture, while still maintaining budget and schedule. Steve has an engineering degree from the United States Naval Academy, a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida and Georgia. His portfolio of projects includes a healthcare surgical suite, flight simulator facility, Naval command center, and an emergency electrical sub-station replacement. Throughout his career, Steve has built a solid reputation for disciplined project delivery.
Amy TisenchekVice President
Value creation has become increasingly important to CPS clients, who face escalating costs and time pressures. Amy Tisenchek is an expert in supervising construction projects and leading project teams from beginning to end. Her previous experience as a General Contractor has allowed her to have a deep understanding of the construction business as well as the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Amy’s approach ensures that all decisions made on a project consider schedule and budget impacts, which keeps the Owner updated and informed at all times. With a primary focus on criminal justice projects, Amy has overseen some of the largest detention center projects in the State of Georgia, including Cobb County, Douglas County, and Paulding County. Her forthright approach and commitment to working through inevitable challenges makes her an invaluable asset for CPS clients.
David Cotton, PMPSenior Program Manager
With more than 33 years of experience of aviation facility management, David has provided his technical expertise in numerous airport construction projects at two of the world’s busiest airports, Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. With CPS, David provides H-JAIA with technical design and construction oversight, with his particular area of expertise being electrical expansion projects. David and the CPS team work onsite to oversee maintenance, design and expansion of technology upgrades of the airport’s communication and electronics systems. David is a special systems low voltage certified fiber optics designer, he has various computer and networking certifications, and he is a PMI certified Project Management Professional. Known for getting the job done and done right, David brings his wealth of knowledge to help airport officials meet their program objectives by protecting their interests as his own. David’s proactive approach in the process helps deliver projects that meet the airport’s requirements and aspirations with innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Shawn Craig, PMPSenior Program Manager
Having earned his Bachelor’s in Construction Management at Kennesaw State University, Shawn has spent his entire career controlling and delivering construction projects at or under cost and on program. He has a strong understanding of the aviation industry, having worked in some of the busiest commercial airports in the county, and delivers the highest standards of quality and safety for our clients through his innovative approach. Having obtained his PMI certification as a Project Management Professional, he is strategic and practical, and helps clients make fiscally sound decisions related to scope management. He understands the concerns that impact the delivery of a crucial infrastructure project. Shawn’s experience covers aircraft fueling systems, airside/landside infrastructure, baggage handling, major terminal refurbishment and extensions, and aircraft maintenance hangar facilities for several airline and military aviation facilities around the country and abroad.
Scott DowdySenior Program Manager
With an extensive background as a Construction Manager and having obtained his degree at Georgia Southern University, Scott uses the tools and resources he has obtained from this experience to exceed his client’s expectations. He has participated in many significant aviation projects at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which includes infrastructure, operations, maintenance, cosmetic upgrades and concessions projects. Scott ensures all of his projects are planned, designed and managed to meet the clients’ needs. He has firsthand understanding of technical regulations and restrictions to help smooth the way for project delivery. As a result, Scott helps clients reduce technical risks, prevent construction errors, control budgets and effectively keep your construction project within the planned schedule.
Josh GoffSenior Program Manager
From concept through completion, Josh provides necessary technical services needed to help CPS clients meet their program objectives. With a degree in management from Georgia Institute of Technology, Josh utilizes his business and finance experience to regulate scope of work, budget and schedule in a risk adverse manner for the Owner. For over 11 years, Josh has utilized his business expertise to help Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport achieve enhanced revenues through the development of leading-edge retail services for its customers. His experience in the development and management of the construction of concession and retail operations has provided the airport team detailed retail strategies and analysis to uncomplicate the dynamic airport concession business.
Derrick Curry, PMPProgram Manager
With over a decade of experience in construction, engineering and customer service, Derrick leads, coordinates and directs project activities for a wide variety of projects. Derrick is an accomplished electrician, holding professional licenses and industry leading certifications. In addition to his degree in Construction Management from Kennesaw State University, Derrick is also PMI certified Project Management Professional. He brings a great technical skillset to the CPS team with the knowledge he has gained over the years. His dedication to quality and his customers allows him to leverage his talents to deliver practical and effective solutions to the challenges that can arise with construction projects. He continues to prove to be an invaluable asset to the CPS team.
Jalen JohnsonAssistant Project Manager
As an Assistant Project Manager, Jalen supports the team through detailed planning and monitoring of the project controls. Having achieved his master’s degree in Building Construction at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Jalen is well-suited to ensure the customer’s vision is implemented within the constraints of the given budget and schedule on a project. Jalen utilizes the skills he learned playing college football to foster a collaborative, team-like environment with the design and construction entities on the project to ensure they work together toward the common goal of delivering a successful project to the Owner.
Hal CorleyProject Manager/Coordinator
Hal Corley has over 20 years of experience helping owners with their capital building programs. Hal has spent the majority of his career working on projects for Hartsfield-Atlanta International Airport where his primary responsibilities are to conduct reviews and assist the project team with coordination and oversight of aviation associated construction projects. Hal is a dependable and hard-working team member who always ensures that the best interest of the owners is delivered in the field. He is the CPS night owl who often serves as the night shift coordinator on projects to ensure minimal interruption to airport operations. Ultimately, Hal is an experienced problem-solver who knows how to provide results and keep forward momentum on projects.
