Project Description

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Terminal & Concourse T HVAC Replacement Project

HVAC systems are critical to the comfort of airport passengers. When Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport needed to replace the HVAC components within the Main Terminal and Concourse T structures, they turned to CPS to help manage the $70 Million project. CPS proved instrumental in the coordination of the installation with no impacts to the airport or airline operations. The scope of work includes the replacements of over 50 Roof Mounted Units, Air Handlers and all associated medium/low pressure ductwork and Terminal Units. All controls are being updated with new digital controls to give the operators greater control and efficiency with operating the HVAC. The Terminal HVAC Replacement Project includes an installation of a massive steel platform on top of the East end of the Main Terminal and required over 40 separate crane mobilizations.
