Project Description

Central Baptist Church Expansion

Central Baptist Church, located in downtown Newnan, made the decision to expand their campus and provided additional space for worship and fellowship. CPS led the extensive coordination required with the City of Newnan and the community to permanently close a street in order to allow the expansion of the Church. The project includes a repurposed fellowship hall that will for the first time allow all Church youth to be together on the same floor of the building and, with the new state-of-the-art kitchen, will accommodate any gathering needed by Central Baptist. A new main entrance and porte cochere allows easy access into the Church for all members, regardless of weather conditions. Additional spaces allow for gathering, recreation, study, and worship. The Susie Mann Thomasson Heritage Wall, constructed from an oak tree that previously was nestled near Central Baptist, honors the founding members of the Church.
